Rutger ten Broeke is known for his classical black and white nudes and is considered among the best of Dutch photographers. He started working as a photographer for German and Dutch magazines in the 1960s and opened, together with his wife Blanka, the photography Gallery F.32 in 1983. Together they initiated and established the first photography auction in Amsterdam. In addition to his continued work as a photographer, Mr. ten Broeke serves as a professor at the Academy of Fine Art and Design (AKI) in Enschede, Netherlands. He is a journalist for the magazine Foto, and has translated several books into Dutch. |
