The exhibition Photography in Houston Galleries runs through December 17, 2005

Gallery hours are 10am – 5pm Monday through Friday and noon – 5pm on Saturdays.

FotoArte, Brazil
Brasilia, October, 2005
"On October 13, 2005, Wendy and I arrived in Brasilia for the fourth edition of Foto Arte, an annual citywide photo event that makes Brazil the site of at least two international photography events at this time. The other is FotoRio in Rio de Janeiro. Earlier events in Curitiba and Sao Paulo are currently not operating."

FotoFest 2006
Film and Video Series

Film and video are taking their place alongside FotoFest’s acclaimed photography programs at FotoFest 2006. Programming is scheduled for March 31 - April 9. FotoFest is collaborating with the Environmental Film Festival (Washington D.C.) and will screen in part at the Brown Auditorium Theater at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

The FotoFest offices will be closed from December 24 - January 1.

The Discoveries of the Meeting Place show for FOTOFEST2006 is featuring ten artists selected as outstanding from FotoFest's 2004 Meeting Place portfolio reviews.

The 2006 Discoveries exhibit will feature Lili Almog (U.S.A., selected by Juan Alberto Gaviria), Dave Anderson (U.S.A., selected by Yossi Milo)
Luis Delgado (U.S.A., selected by Fernando Castro), Esteban Pastorino Diaz (Argentina, selected by Burt & Missy Finger), Justin Guariglia (Singapore, selected by Alan E.   • FotoFest 2006 International Fine Print Auction
    March 14, 2006

    The auction provides a rare opportunity to find high quality contemporary fine art photography from Latin America, Asia, Canada, Europe, and the United States. One hundred contemporary international and U.S. artists will be featured in FotoFest's Seventh International Fine Print Auction.

    Proceeds from auction ticket and table sponsorships benefit FotoFest's year-round Literacy Through Photography (LTP) educational program in Houston-area public schools. If you are interested in table sponsorship, please contact Meg Murray at mmurray@cjstick.com.

    This years auction features prints by Pavel Banka, Edward Burtynsky, Lalla Essaydi, Bohn Chang Koo, Chema Madoz and Luis Gonzalez Palma. A preview of prints available for the FotoFest auction will be available online soon.
