The Journey Is about to Come to an End

...It hadn’t crossed my mind that this game would become the starting point of a journey that I would never forget. Twenty minutes into the game, I took off on the left side of the field, eluding the BCA defenders, when suddenly I had an open area where I could kick the ball comfortable with my right foot. I had several of my team-mates wide open on the right side of the field, but I felt confident, and I took one of the most magnificent risks of my life. The ball kissed the left pole of the goal, and as BCA’s goalie tried to block the shot, the ball perforated the net, and the JH soccer team had scored its first goal of the season, a goal scored by me, the unknown kid who couldn’t identify with his new school...

...My scar has been a speed bump, a two-month pause to get back into my life differently, prideful and stronger, both mentally and physically.

I have succeeded through my surgery. I have become happier with my life; I enjoy it more, laugh a lot more, and await the future that is to come.

My operation gave me patience, like when you’re on a road with very huge speed bumps and there’s nothing more you can do other than to go over them and get back on the highway.

The Math Expert

The background is black like a chalkboard. I could see stripes that look like long rectangles. I chose this background because I love math questions more than everybody else. I picked that title because I am a math expert. I picked birds eye view because I wanted everyone to see all of the math problems. I chose this clothing because at school is where we do the most math problems and we wear uniforms. I felt like I knew any problem. In the future I see myself being a mechanical engineer.

Neptune Madness

I see myself as a mad and furious. My background is Neptune. I am wearing a black t-shirt with khaki pants. I imagine that I am a animagus. In the future I will conquer Neptune. My point of view was from below. It felt like I was crying in earth so I went through all the eight Planets. I felt really angry. My posture was to show my muscles. I stopped at Neptune and got mad because I did not like freezing cold places so I wanted to conquer Neptune. I am the king of Neptune!!!

I Have a Secret

I have a secret that I rarely share with anyone. It is a secret that for many reasons I like to keep quiet. This secret is not that I kissed someone in 3rd grade or that I have a crush on this teacher. It is something far greater. it is though of as a trait acquired by old age or bad habits and for this reason I try to avoid telling my peers about my secret. The fear of bombarding questions is something I try to avoid. I have arthritis. Yes this is true – I suffer from a rheumatoid form of the stereotypical old age disease that one can acquire from the complexity yet simplicity of genetics. In the medical world the name for my disease is spondyloarthropathy, or arthritis originating in the spine. I have had many troubles with this disease, the biggest of which is how people treat you when they know about it. the attention given to you is something that is unwanted on experienced. They treat you as if you are a precious diamond that cannot be smudged or touched...

Erica, Jocelyn and Sandra

Erica is my best friend. One day the teacher gave us a camera so we could take pictures. The nest day Erica took a picture of her best friends Sandra and Jocelyn. When she gave the camera to the teacher, she took it to the photo lab so they could develop the film. They gave her a CD were there was all the photos that we took at school and out side of school so we could see them.

When we saw them there was one of the pictures where Erica, Jocelyn and Sandra were supposed to be the only ones in the picture, but instead there were four girls. What happened was that Ms. Moran explained to us that if the film did not run all the way to be ready for the other picture to be taken they will come some times one on top of the other and that is how we got the other girl in there. we were very surprise to see that picture. But Erica told us that fourth girl was her causing.

We all understood what the teacher explained to us and we learned a lesson. We also had a lot of fun with the picture although at the beginning it was scary.
