Poster collages of student writing and photography were on display at FotoFence 2004, the 14th annual exhibition of FotoFest's Literacy Through Photography (LTP) education program. The exhibition included work by 300 students from 8 school districts in Harris, Ft. Bend, and Galveston counties.
Students, teachers and families attended a special reception on Saturday, May 15 in the Union Station Lobby. Guest enjoyed popcorn and lemonade as they viewed the exhibit. Mary Doyle Glover, LTP Director, made a presentation to the group thanking the students and teachers for their participation in the LTP program during the 2003-2004 school year.
This year's exhibition included posters by students who used the LTP Just a Drop Curriculum created for the FotoFest 2004 Biennial. The posters documented their investigations, experiences and new knowledge about the value of water.
