FotoFest 2006 - Catalogue
The 2006 Biennial Catalogue is the publication of record for the Biennial. The
format will follow the conventions set in previous years. As a participating
space, you may be a part of the Catalogue.
We are now organizing the catalogue. We are offering the following options for
inclusion in the catalogue. Please note that the prices reflect printing costs
only. FotoFest absorbs design, administration and production costs.
If you are interested in participating in the FotoFest 2006 Catalogue, please
indicate your interest by filling out the online form at the bottom of the page
by Friday, July 8, 2005

Black and White Pages
1 page with text and 1 B&W image on the same page: $295
2 pages with text on the 1st page and 1 B&W image on the other: $375
Additional B&W images: $35 per image
Additional Pages: $70 per page
Color Pages
1 page with text and 1 color image on the same page: $475
2 pages with text on the 1st page and 1 color image on the other: $575
Additional color images: $75 per image
Additional Pages: $110 per page
Monday, September 14, 2005:
All materials, (text, visuals and payment), are due by this date. All text,
(exhibition title, essay, captions and artists bios) must be submitted in MS
Word format on a PC formatted
floppy disk, ZIP or CD (No Mac formatted disks will be accepted).
Receipt of your check or credit card information with your material by
September 14, 2005 with an authorized signature for the full amount of your
catalogue pages will guarantee space for your organization's exhibit in the
FotoFest 2006 Catalogue. Confirmation of payment will be sent to you for your
records.

Please remember copy will be formatted by the catalogue designer it is
unnecessary to use special fonts or caps.

3. Artist Biography:
Narrative paragraph of 5 to 12 sentences, not more than 150 words - S Kubrick
was born in New York .
Do NOT send long vita. Because you are most familiar with your exhibiting
artists' accomplishments, we ask that you create the concise biography. ARTISTS'
RESUMES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AS BIOS
. We will have to return them to you for rewriting. Sample bios are
included below.
If an individual curator has been important in organizing the show and you want
to credit the curator. Please send biography (follow directions for artist's
biography).

Ernestine Ruben
Ernestine Ruben's newest imagery combines a 19th-century, historic sensibility
with he serene romance of the landscape rendered in washes of gum bichromate, a
non-silver printing process. Ruben lives and works in Princeton, New Jersey,
and has had recent solo exhibitions at john Stevenson gallery, New York;
Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Montgomery, Alabama; Maison Europečne de la
photographie, Paris; and Rodin Museum, Philadelphia. Her work is in collections
worldwide including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia; Rodin Museum,
Paris; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Stedlijk Museum, Amsterdam; and Museum of
Modern Art, Art.
Christopher Talbot
Born in Portland, Oregon, in 1971, Christopher Talbot has always worked in
photography and education. He earned his B.F.A. in photography in 1995 from
Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. After continuing his Photographic work
and teaching in Central America for four years, he returned to the United
States and is currently completing work on his M.F.A. in photography and
digital media at the University of Houston.

4. Images:
All visuals must be in the form of high quality color transparencies or B&W
prints, no larger than 8.5 X 11 inches or a digital file. If you are
unable to provide a print or transparencies, a proof print must be sent.
Digital files MUST be accompanied by a proof print that you want the
printer to use as a reference for reproducing your catalogue image. The digital
files must be at least 300 DPI, no larger then 8.5 x 11, CMYK (RGB and Pantone
colors will not print correctly), save as a TIFF. The printer prefers to scan
from a high quality print or transparencies.
5. Free Copies:
All Participating Spaces that participate in the FotoFest 2006 Catalogue will
receive two complimentary copies. Additional copies for artists will be
available at a 25% discount.
Spaces interested in selling the catalogue will receive a 40% discount if they
purchase. If catalogues are consigned then a 20% discount will be offered.
OTHER PUBLICATIONS
FotoFest will produce a map and schedule listing venues, exhibits events and
openings at all Participating Spaces. There is no charge for inclusion on the
map.
Information about exhibits that will be included on the map are due no later
than September 14, 2005
.
Please include updated exhibit dates, days, hours, address, phone number, title
of exhibit, and name of artist(s). Please indicate if the exhibit is related to The
Earth or Artists Responding to Violence theme.
PRESS PACKETS
To make information about all FotoFest 2006 exhibitions available to the press,
we will keep a file at FotoFest Headquarters with all written and visual
materials about exhibitions at Participating Spaces.
Additionally, FotoFest 2006 Participating Spaces will be listed along with
exhibition titles on our web site this summer and a list will accompany the
initial Press Release scheduled for mailing in June. Please make sure that we
are up to date on your exhibition titles and contact information before then.
