The Meeting Place, FotoFest's portfolio review program for photographers, is one of the Biennial's most important and popular programs. The twelve day Meeting Place presents an unparalleled opportunity for artists using photography to have their work seen by some of the most important people in the field of photography.

FotoFest brings photography professionals-museum curators, gallery owners, magazine editors, representatives of photography agencies, collectors and publishers from around the world to meet with photographers and review their work.

"It's an electrifying experience. I now understand more fully how the exhibitions and the Meeting Place serve to create vital relationships with curators, publishers and photographers from around the globe. "
-David Maisel, photographer, Sausalito, CA.

The Meeting Place will be held March 10 - 23, 2006.

There are three 4-day sessions and two 6-day sessions. Two break days take place on March 14 and March 19. On break days, FotoFest is sponsoring workshops, exhibit tours and special events, including the Fine Print Auction.
