FotoFest 2006 - The Eleventh International Biennial of Photography and Photo-Related Art,takes place March 10 - April 23, 2006. The Biennial has two themes:

. Artists Responding to Violence

FotoFest's Biennial programs examines these themes through exhibitions of mixed media installations, documentary photography, and a film and video program as well as forums.

As part of the 2006 Biennial, FotoFest plans the following events.

FotoFest 2006, The Eleventh International Biennial Month of Photography: March 10 - April 23, 2006 Exhibits are located at spaces around Houston and will include classical photography, new media work, installations, film, video and documentaries.
The 2006 Meeting Place - The FotoFest Portfolio Reviews for Artists: March 10 - 23, 2006 Three 4-day and two 6-day sessions. Doubletree Hotel, Downtown Houston.
Workshops: March 14 & 19, 2006 Doubletree Hotel, Downtown Houston.
The 2006 Fine Print Auction: March 14, 2006 Doubletree Hotel, Downtown Houston.
