Water is mobile
Water is sensitive
Water is open
Water is always found in circulation
Life on earth is irrevocably linked to water,
to fluid water
If one does not understand fluid water
One cannot understand life

The central subject of our concern is understanding what good water is and how it changes during the various
cycles. Once water is brought into motion, it reveals a wide variety of activities. It becomes the medium for
all different sorts of shape-forming processes and the place wherein there is an inexhaustible activity of
renewal and recreation of forms.

The vivid colors and rhythms of the river become a source of philosophical and spiritual insight. Four
years in the making, Riverglass is a reflection of my endless fascination with the forces of nature,
forces that contain universal principles of life and the seeds for a new kind of narrative cinema.
