FotoFest 2004 presented 29 U.S. and International exhibitions/installations relating to Water at sites throughout
Houston. The works came from Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Canada, England, Germany, France, Russia, Slovenia,
Czech Republic, and Korea, and many parts of the U.S.
FotoFest also featured the fifth Discoveries of the Meeting Place exhibit.
In addition to FotoFest's own exhibitions, the citywide
Biennial offered more than 100 independently produced
public exhibitions by museums, universities, non-profit arts
organizations, commercial galleries, and corporate spaces.
The month-long event presented public art openings, performances,
and artist talks.
