The Collector’s Eye is an ongoing exhibition series highlighting the photographic collections of interesting and important personalities. The 2012 Collector's Eye exhibition is the second in the series and focuses on lawyer, artist, curator and collector Frazier King.

Frazier King describes himself as an “accidental collector.”  As Chair of the Exhibion Committee at the Houston Center for Photography (HCP), he has had curatorial input on a number of exhibitions during his tenure.  His most recent curatorial project was the HCP exhibition Created and Found Maps (2010). He has participated in FotoFest as both a reviewer for HCP as a participant, showing his own work at the Houston Museum of Printing History (2008), and Nancy Littlejohn Fine Art, Houston (2002). His own work has been shown widely nationally and internationally. It is included in the permanent collections of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; The Harry Ransom Center, The University of Texas at Austin; George Eastman House, Rochester, New York; Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris France; and Museu de Arte Moderna, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
