Organized by FotoFest to present the first U.S. exhibition of three very talented young photographers from Central Europe. Two of the photographers, Voita V. Sláma and Igor Malijevský, are from the Czech Republic, and the third, Aleksandra Vajd is from Slovenia and currently living in Prague.

The exhibit will present more than 50 black and white photographic prints. The works are characterized by a modernist aesthetic influenced by the avant-garde ideas of Czech and Central European photography of the 1920's-1940's and carried forward in aspects of Josef Sudek's work. It is an aesthetic marked by a very sophisticated and sensitive use of fragmentary elements of light, form, shadow, and movement. It is suggestive and oblique. It is filled with delicate irony and visual surprise.
