FotoFest's Biennial programs examines these themes through exhibitions of mixed media installations, documentary photography, and a film and video program as well as forums.

As part of the 2008 Biennial, FotoFest plans the following events.

FotoFest 2008, The Twelfth International Biennial Month of Photography: March 7 - April 27, 2008 Exhibits are located at spaces around Houston and will include classical photography, new media work, installations, film, video and documentaries.
The 2008 Meeting Place - The FotoFest Portfolio Reviews for Artists: March 7 - 20, 2008 Three 4-day and two 6-day sessions. Doubletree Hotel, Downtown Houston.
Workshops: March 11 & 16, 2008 Doubletree Hotel, Downtown Houston.
The 2008 Fine Print Auction: March 11, 2008 Doubletree Hotel, Downtown Houston.
