FotoFest 2014 Biennial

PARTICIPATING SPACES

The FotoFest 2014 Biennial, the Fifteenth International Biennial of Photography and Photo-related Art will take place March 15-April 27, 2014.

The international FotoFest Biennial continues to grow in recognition and numbers. Over 100 spaces participated in the 2012 Biennial. We estimated the overall attendance at 265,000 people for the 2012 Biennial.  Curators, collectors, arts audiences and photographic artists came to the Biennial from 32 countries.

Participating Spaces are a very important part of the Biennial’s success making it truly a city-wide event.

Participating Spaces are museums, commercial galleries, non-profits, artist-run spaces, corporate spaces, and retail establishments that choose to exhibit photographic art as part of the FOTOFEST Biennial. Participating Spaces participate in the oldest and longest-running photographic event in the United States.

Participation includes free listings in the FotoFest Biennial Events/Exhibitions Map, Calendar and other promotional materials distributed at locations throughout the city. 35,000 copies of the citywide Event and Exhibit Maps are printed in late February-early March 2014 and will be mailed nationally and internationally.

Additionally, Participating Spaces have the opportunity to promote their exhibits in the FotoFest 2014 Biennial Catalogue at a subsidized price. The catalogue is the Biennial’s official publication. It is distributed locally, nationally, and internationally.
