Regina Maria Anzenberger

Regina Anzenberger was born in Vienna, Austria, where she currently lives and works. Ms. Anzenberger is an artist and curator. She is the founder of the Anzenberger Agency, where she has been director since 1989. Additionally, she has also been the owner of the Anzenberger Gallery since 2002. Ms. Anzenberger is a member of the Committee of the Joop Swart Masterclass and the Prix Pictet.

She has curated many international exhibitions, and edited several books including 22 Photographers (Edition Stemmle,1997); Austrian Documentary Photography; Ferdinand Schmutzer – A Photographic Discovery (Photographers International Taiwan,1999 and 2004); East (Moser Verlag 2008); West (Kehrer Verlag, 2009); and Ferdinand Schmutzer - Photographic Works 1894-1928 (Moser Verlag, 2008). Her own work was included in the exhibition catalogue, Philodendron, which include her paintings, drawings, and photographs.  Her work also appears in books including All about Golf, The Dog Shakeera (Anzenberger Gallery 2010), and My Golf Diary (Anzenberger Gallery 2011).

Ms. Anzenberger is interested in bodies of work that tell a story through concepts, mixed media work, and photography. She does not want to see nude or advertising photography.
