Jason Landry is a photography collector, writer, and owner of Panopticon Gallery in Boston, Massachusetts. Panopticon Gallery, established in 1971, is one of the oldest fine art photography galleries in the United States specializing in contemporary, modern and vintage photography. They represent established and emerging photographers with a primary focus on developing and expanding their careers.
Landry brings over 20 years of business management and fine art photography experience to the gallery. Before acquiring the gallery, he worked at the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University in various capacities and was a member of the Board of Directors. He currently serves as a Corporator on the Board of Directors at The Griffin Museum of Photography.
Mr. Landry is interested in reviewing portfolios that focus on interesting and creative uses of portraiture, nude and figure studies, landscape, personal projects, and photography book projects. He is also very interested in unique photo-based objects. He is not interested in reviewing commercial, editorial or advertising photography. Panopticon Gallery has offered exhibition and representation opportunities to many artists that have come directly from past portfolio review events.
